Synopsis

Morgan Davies knows exactly how dangerous a good time can become.

At twenty-nine, she makes her living performing beneath the neon blaze of Fremont Street, where temptation is practically part of the dress code. Morgan still loves nightlife, attention, and the occasional bad decision, but she has spent years learning the difference between choosing indulgence and being ruled by it.

Then Bacchus comes to Las Vegas.

The ancient god of wine, revelry, and abandon believes modern humanity has forgotten how to let go. His solution is simple: turn down restraint and let desire run free. At first, the city becomes brighter, louder, and more alive. Then people stop knowing when to stop. Morgan recognizes the danger because she has lived on the wrong side of that line before, and Bacchus is beginning to erase it for everyone.

To stop him, Morgan must get close enough to understand his power, convince him she has surrendered to his philosophy, and use his own love of performance against him. But when the thyrsus changes hands, Morgan discovers that defeating the god of revelry is one thing.

Becoming his replacement is another.

When the Wine Ran Wild is a witty contemporary fantasy about temptation, free will, bad decisions, and the dangerous difference between wanting something and truly choosing it
