Synopsis

Discover the final chapters of the prophetic journey through the lives of ‘Isa (AS) and Muhammad ﷺ.

Stories of the Prophets in the Qur’an – Volume 3 brings the series to its final volume, focusing on ‘Isa (Jesus) (AS) and Muhammad ﷺ, the final Messenger of Allah.

This volume brings together Qur’anic narratives, authentic hadith, Islamic historical context, and practical lessons in clear and accessible English.

The Prophets covered in this volume are: ‘Isa (Jesus) (AS) and Muhammad ﷺ.

Through their stories, readers will explore themes of faith, worship, patience, mercy, obedience, sacrifice, courage, forgiveness, trust in Allah, perseverance, and steadfastness upon the truth.

The book carefully distinguishes between what is established in the Qur’an, what is supported by authentic Prophetic hadith, and what comes from later historical traditions or reports that are not authentically established.

These are more than stories from the past.

They are lessons for the believer living today. They speak about remaining faithful during hardship, standing firm when truth is rejected, turning to Allah in times of difficulty, showing mercy and compassion, and following divine guidance even when the path is difficult.

The story of ‘Isa (AS) takes readers through the Qur’anic account of his miraculous birth, his mother Maryam (AS), his prophethood, the signs Allah gave him, his call to worship Allah, and the truth concerning his mission.

The life of Muhammad ﷺ brings the prophetic journey to its final Messenger. His life demonstrates faith, patience, leadership, mercy, sacrifice, forgiveness, courage, worship, and complete devotion to Allah. His Sunnah provides practical guidance for believers in every part of life.

Together, these final stories complete the journey through the Prophets explored across this three-volume series.

From Adam (AS) in Volume 1, through Shu‘ayb (AS), Musa (AS), Dawud (AS), Sulayman (AS), Yunus (AS), Zakariyya (AS), and Yahya (AS) in Volume 2, and finally to ‘Isa (AS) and Muhammad ﷺ in this final volume, the series follows the continuing call of the Prophets toward the worship of Allah alone.

Whether you are looking for Qur’anic stories, stories of the Prophets, the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the story of ‘Isa (AS), Islamic history, authentic hadith, or meaningful Islamic lessons, this final volume offers an engaging conclusion to the journey.

“We relate to you, [O Muhammad], the best of stories through what We have revealed to you of this Qur’an.”
