Synopsis

CIA operative Katharine Dubois arrives in Paris with two missions: investigate mysterious Ukrainian contractor Dmitri Novac and uncover the truth about her father, an intelligence officer who vanished eighteen years ago. Dmitri is supposed to be her target. Instead, he becomes her ally—and something more.
When Dmitri’s missing sister leaves behind evidence of a secret network known as VESPER, their investigations collide. A cryptic rose drawn among her clues hints that things may not be what they seem. The trail leads through buried intelligence files, shell companies, covert operatives, and a powerful Russian oligarch with plans that could throw Europe into chaos.
With time running out, they are drawn into a deadly race across Europe, where she must unravel a conspiracy involving a devastating new weapon—and Katharine must confront the possibility that the people she trusted most have been hiding the truth all along.
Lines in the Seine is an international espionage thriller of deception, loyalty, forbidden technology, and love, where the most dangerous secrets are not the ones hidden by enemies—but the ones buried by people you trust.
