THE SEVEN CHURCHES
What happens when Jesus examines His Church?
In the opening chapters of Revelation, Christ speaks directly to seven churches in Asia Minor. His words are more than historical letters. They reveal His heart for His Church, His standard for spiritual leadership, His warnings against compromise, and His promises to those who overcome.
To Ephesus, He speaks about lost love.
To Smyrna, He speaks about faithfulness in suffering.
To Pergamum, He confronts compromise.
To Thyatira, He addresses tolerated corruption.
To Sardis, He exposes the difference between reputation and reality.
To Philadelphia, He honors faithfulness despite weakness.
To Laodicea, He confronts spiritual lukewarmness.
Every church receives a message. Every leader is confronted. Every believer is invited to examine the condition of the heart.
The seven churches provide a prophetic mirror through which today's Church can examine its love, doctrine, holiness, leadership, mission, spiritual vitality, and relationship with Christ.
At the center of every message is the same question:
Can you hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church?
The Seven Churches invites pastors, leaders, believers, and students of Scripture to rediscover Christ's message to His Church and consider what it means to remain faithful as we look toward the last days.
The message is ancient.
The warning is timeless.
And the call to overcome still stands.
