Synopsis
Everyone experiences turning points over a hundred times a day. We reach a place where several options stretch before us, a turning point, when we must choose one course of action over another. They can be as simple a turning point as what to eat or when to sleep. They might be as serious as living or dying. Most are decided with little thought or regard for the consequences.
These turning points are sometimes in our control and sometimes forced upon us. The decision may affect just us or our family or the whole of society. The consequences may be fun and immediate or dire and long lasting or any of a million combinations.
These sixty-five flash fiction pieces deal with those turning points. Some indicate what leads up to it, some the choices to be made when it's reached and some the consequences of the choice. They are meant to entertain the reader and hopefully provide food for thought as we reach those turning points in our future.
To create interest, the stories are written in multiple genres. There are historical, horror, humor and science fiction frameworks which support the protagonist as he or she or they deal with the consequences of reaching and choosing their turning points.
