Donald Trump has a problem.
The 2028 election is over. Elizabeth Navarro won. Congress certified the result. The new president has been inaugurated.
Donald Trump disagrees.
As far as he’s concerned, he won 272 electoral votes, he remains President of the United States, and everybody else simply needs to catch up.
His children realize something has to be done.
Their solution is The Belfry—an impossibly luxurious, impossibly secret underground residential facility in Northern Virginia, where the fabulously wealthy deposit relatives whose circumstances make ordinary retirement living… impractical.
There’s just one complication.
Trump can’t know what The Belfry really is.
So they build him a White House.
Soon Donald has a replica Oval Office, a devoted staff, a Cabinet composed of eccentric elderly residents, intelligence briefings carefully tailored to his worldview, and Natalie Harp faithfully at his side. There are crises to manage. Canada is moving the border. Portugal is behaving suspiciously. The cows may be plotting something.
And Donald Trump is governing again.
At least, he thinks he is.
Meanwhile, Special Counsel Cassandra Holloway has a considerably less amusing problem: the United States government has lost Donald Trump. Her search leads from grand-jury testimony and a suspicious pizza restaurant to a maintenance garage hiding something extraordinary beneath a Virginia park.
And finding Trump turns out to be the easy part.
Because the former president still has unfinished business with the American justice system—and the American justice system has absolutely no idea what to do with the man it finally finds.
THE ETERNAL TRUMP II: “THE BELFRY” is a dark political satire about power, reality, family, accountability, and what happens when an entire world is constructed around one man because correcting him is simply too much trouble.
Above ground, America moves on.
Below ground, Donald Trump still has work to do.
