Synopsis

Frank Bennett built his life on power, instinct, and the ability to command a room. Then a stroke takes away the one thing he has always relied on most-his voice.

As Frank struggles with aphasia and fights to rebuild his life, he discovers that the people around him may have been counting on him never finding his way back. Behind closed doors, loyalties are shifting, secrets are being protected, and a dangerous fight for control is already underway.

But Frank's mind is still sharp.

With the people he trusts at his side, Frank begins putting the pieces together. What he uncovers pulls him into a web of betrayal, corporate corruption, and deception that reaches further than he imagined. And the closer he gets to the truth, the more dangerous the fight becomes.

Stroke of Genius is a suspenseful thriller about power, betrayal, survival, and a man determined to take back control of his life-even when others have already counted him out.

Inspired in part by author Vince B. Bailey's own experience surviving a stroke and living with aphasia, the novel brings an often misunderstood condition into a gripping story without allowing it to define the man at its center. They thought he was finished. They were wrong.
