Synopsis
This is an almost true story.
Domino is ten, and knows things. Jujube is six, and fears nothing. When their dad's birthday slideshow ends with a twist — he gets to choose the family vacation — they aim the car at Yellowstone and set off across four states, one very long day, and a serious shortage of hamburgers.
Then comes the campfire. And on the canyon wall, an enormous shadow begins to rise…
What the shadow turns out to belong to is not what anyone expected — and it's the beginning of a friendship, an unlikely coronation, and the strangest secret in the whole national park. This is the not-entirely-verifiable account of how two kids met a giant, kept his secret, and left Yellowstone with an explanation for Old Faithful that you won't find on any park sign.
