What happens when the girl who checks everything shares a photo without checking it first?
Maya Mistry sees a photo of a shark fin at Foundry Lock, on the exact stretch of canal where the Grand Kettlebridge Duck Race is about to be held. It looks completely real. Before she knows it, she has shared it everywhere with six fateful words attached: Looks real to me. Maya M. Now the race might be cancelled, half the town is worried, and Otto the very confident chatbot is making things worse. To fix her mistake, Maya must look properly at the photo, spot the tells that give a fake away, and learn why checking before sharing matters.
