Synopsis
A film crew has come aboard the Giant of the Seas to make a documentary about the strangest school in the world — cameras in the corridors, consent forms in the mail, a whole year of shipboard life politely, lawfully collected. Mari Vega and the Deck Thirteen Society have learned the difference between being filmed and being seen. But one person in the film's paper office isn't gathering footage. She's building a list: the names and faces of the ship's most hidden families — the ones a court in The Hague is about to call as witnesses — and somewhere, someone is paying, quietly, to make sure those people can never be found.
