Synopsis

Learn English the visual way with this graded reader — an easy English reading comic book for adult ESL and EFL learners at CEFR A1 level. This illustrated comic retells the classic tale of Cinderella in short, simple sentences, so beginners build vocabulary and reading confidence with every page.

You have tried apps. You have tried word lists. Yet real English reading still feels hard. This book takes a different road: one clear picture for every idea, and one short line under it. You see the image, you read the words, and the meaning sticks — no dictionary, no stress.

A kind young woman works all day by the fire for a cruel stepmother and two proud stepsisters. When the King holds a grand ball, they leave her behind. Then a fairy's magic gives her a shining gown, glass shoes, and one night to be seen — but the spell will break at midnight. On the dance floor, the Prince sees only her. Then the clock begins to strike twelve, and she must run. Who is the girl who left one glass shoe on the stair?

WHY THIS BOOK IS DIFFERENT

Every phrase is tied to a vivid, full-page image, so new words turn into pictures you remember. The sentences stay short and direct, built on the most common English words, with simple present and simple past. There are no long paragraphs, no rare words, and no idioms to slow you down. Each right-hand page ends on a small hook, so you always want to turn to the next one.

The story is complete in one volume, with a clear beginning, a rising threat, and a rewarding end. The rhythm is fluid and the art is bright, striking, and printed clean in black and white for the paperback, and in full color for the ebook. It reads like a short film you can hold in your hands.

This is honest graded reading: no tricks, no filler, no fake speed promises. Just a gripping story you can actually finish in English, and feel proud that you did.

WHO IT IS FOR

This book is made for adult beginners and false beginners who want to read, not just memorize. It works for self-study at home, for classroom use, and for anyone coming back to English after many years away. If you know your letters and a few first words, you are ready for page one.

HOW TO USE IT

Read one page at a time and say each line out loud. Look at the picture first, then read the words, and let the two connect. Listen to the audio to check your sound and rhythm. At the end, the picture exercises help you review the story and lock in the new words.
