The forest has been watching.
The machines have not.
In Sylvarenne, humans, elves, artificial intelligences, and Spirits are still struggling to understand one another across a divide none of them fully comprehends. The Technocracy can measure broken branches, failed equipment, altered energy patterns, and impossible environmental events, yet the beings causing them remain invisible to its machines.
The elves know the Spirits are real.
The Spirits know the machines are real.
Neither side can truly perceive the other.
As tensions deepen and the mystery of the forest grows stranger, the people caught between worlds must find new ways to communicate before misunderstanding becomes something far more dangerous.
Part II of The Things the Forest Could Not See continues the story of first contact, unseen intelligences, technological certainty, ancient magic, and the difficult realization that something does not have to be measurable to exist.
Because sometimes the greatest obstacle is not what we cannot see.
It is believing that what we cannot see cannot be there.
