Synopsis
A geek wrote a dating guide, and asked the universe for help. Five days later he got his answer.
In September 2005, a 34-year-old engineer in Sydney sat down and wrote twenty-two theories, several Boolean functions, a Karnaugh map, and one Swedish compound noun that would be unprintable in a family newspaper. On the 1st of October he settled on a title. On the 6th of October, the system was tested in the field.
G³ is nine pairs of chapters — each theory chapter written in 2005, preserved as legacy code, paired with a practice chapter written twenty years later. The gap between those two voices is where the book lives.
Not quite self-help. Not quite memoir. Not quite comedy. All three, in a bathrobe, holding a martini.

Dr Tim O'Neill is an engineer, overthinker, and hopeful romantic. He has a PhD and now lives on the Mornington Peninsula, a long way away from Sydney.
