Synopsis

In 1974, Calvin Reece was the smiling host of Open the Door!, a local game show built on cheap prizes, bright lights and three painted doors.
Then, after one season, the show was cancelled without explanation.
No scandal. No arrest. No goodbye.
Forty years later, documentary researcher Mara Ellison uncovers an unaired tape from the programme’s final days — and the name of a contestant who vanished shortly after filming.
The deeper Mara digs, the darker the archive becomes: missing women, hush money, false identities, and a network that chose silence over exposure.
Then Mara discovers her own mother worked at the station.
And kept a tape of her own.
