Liv Aune knows how to calm frightened bodies. At her muddy, underfunded wildlife sanctuary, every injured animal, broken fence, and late-night crisis lands in her hands. Control keeps things alive. Control keeps disaster from winning.
Then Erik Voss arrives in a storm, carrying a rune-marked aurochs horn and a curse waking beneath his skin.
The magic is Uruz: strength, endurance, wild survival. But the Hollow Aett has twisted it into something brutal, using iron restraints, bloodline experiments, and medical obedience to turn living people into weapons.
