Synopsis

James Edward Bowheart is at breaking point. Between his long hours working as a barman at a nightclub and his training to become a doctor, his visions that are escalating along with his drug taking, he can't take much more. Until the woman he loves gives birth to her son. It's James' turning point. He needs to get clean. Then he sees Marina with the biological father of her baby and all of James' good intentions come undone.

Except nothing--not even drugs--can quell the events that unfold around him. He loses a patient under another doctor's care, a patient James knew how to treat, while his courageous sister pieces together her visions of a young woman's disappearance thanks to the dark specter of a murderer who seeks absolution from his sins.

When he thinks things can't possibly get more complicated or his sanity more tested, will his inner journey see him deflect a fated disaster, or will he again succumb to the burden of his psychic ability?

A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

Mel Teshco lives in the beautiful country of QLD Australia, where the open spaces of her acreage, fondly called 'the block', gives her room to breathe. When she isn't writing or dreaming of writing, she is often found gazing out the window at the surrounding mountains and thinking how very lucky she is. With one semi-patient husband, three gorgeous girls, two fat horses, one crazy Belgian shepherd and three cats who run the house, writing has (mostly) kept her sane.
