Synopsis

Over a year ago, Michael Hawkins-a centuries-old vampire-and Cecelia "Celie" Moore-a recently turned vampire-fell in love. They've endured threats and attacks from cult leaders. Most recently, they faced SpellCasters who used magic to separate them emotionally, mentally, and physically. Through it all, they found each other and survived-together.

Now comes something new to wreak havoc in their lives.

Her name is Cressida, and she's an incredibly powerful vampire. She's been playing the long game for decades, desperate to enact revenge against the one person she holds responsible for her misery: Michael. After all this time, she's grown tired of waiting; tired of letting others do her dirty work. She's ready to take the final steps to kill him for good, and his lover would be icing on the cake.

When he's abducted, Celie desperately fights back, using every ability and ally at her disposal to reclaim Michael from Cressida and her vampire progeny. Can she free him and end Cressida's quest for vengeance once and for all?

From the author of Beyond the Shadows and SpellCast from Darkness comes the third book in the Beyond the Shadows series. Experience Celie's final fight Against the Coming Dark.
