This book is an English version of some articles published in Chinese by the author. After he published his first Chinese written book, some people (including his children, nephew, nieces, co-workers) asked him when he was going to translate those esseys to English. It has been five years. And finally, he decided to select some articles to translate them to English. The author was a fishery biologist, worked on the "food habits" of the marine fishes in the Bering Sea, Gulf of Alaska, and Aleutian Islands for 40 years. That is where the book title came from. However, this book is not restricted on the diets of fish only. It covered his growing up enviroments, his education, his passion with his beloved ones, his illness, the pandemic, etc. His intensoin was to let his children, grandchildren, and the generations there after to know more about him, as a first generation of new immigrant to the United States of America.
