Lissa Morgan, a freelance journalist and writer, feels herself drawn to the past when she travels home from the big city to a small town to say her final goodbyes to her loving dad and help her mom settle down and adjust to life without him.
A past that will take her back to the beginning of the 19th century. It is there that she will cross paths with the family that lived in "The Blocker house", an enchanting rundown two-story southern home now overgrown with vines, dust and "a scent of cinnamon and yeast, like freshly baked cinnamon rolls!" What Lissa finds there will forever alter her path and change everything she thought she knew about the Blocker home, her hometown, and romance.Les informations fournies dans la section « Synopsis » peuvent faire référence à une autre édition de ce titre.
"Debasish Mridha once quoted - "Every day of life is an adventure. Don't fear to dare and never forget to enjoy it."
Elva has lived in McComb Mississippi most of her life. She went back to college to become a writer after retiring from the telephone company as a service technician, (the first female service technician in Pike County, Mississippi).
Due to enduring physical challenges, she is unable to enjoy many of the things she loves like gardening, spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren, remaining active in her church, crafts and traveling.
Nevertheless, God continues to grace her with a bountiful mind full of joy, imagination, and adventure; all of which flow through in her writings.
Her next book, "Stepping Up To Romance", is a fictional romance novel packed with excitement, discouragement, secrecy and the desire for love. It has a projected publish date for early 2023. Just in time for those brisk winter days when your snuggled up in a warm blanket with your favorite beverage waiting for the beauty of spring, with all its sweet melodies, to return once again!
