Lavinia M. Hughes, a native New Englander, is the author of Enter Through the Porthole, her 4th collection of paranormal short stories that follows up her previous Enter Through the Crawlspace, Enter Through the Bulkhead, and Enter Through the Alleyway. The Twilight Zone and the Alfred Hitchcock Hour are her inspirations for these mystical stories that feature drama and a human nature twist. Some characters may not be human but they all have a story to tell. She has also written An iGen Cookbook for the Unskilled and co-authored Newtucket Island, Training Ship, Cape Car Blues, and Mikey Mayflower - The Early Years. The author lives and writes with her husband Richard Hughes at their Cape Cod home in the seaside village of Waquoit, Massachusetts.
