Micheal Wolliston was born on 8th October 1965, as one eight children.

He has worked as a computer games tester, back in the days of ZX Spectrums and Commodors, right upto Playstations, Sega Megadrives and Gameboys. This job overlapped with an ongoing 27 year career of transferring videos to DVDs and now on to mp4s.

He also spent over ten years, working as a Door Supervisor, working in some of Central London's premier night clubs

It wasn't until his 40th birthday that The Movie Channel installed itself in his head and began constantly being played out

Whilst Michael Wolliston doesn't believe in star signs, he was born the definition of a Libra, The scales of that Star sign, reflect how he always sees the two sides to any story. What if Luke had joined The Dark Side? What if the big bad Wolf had eaten two of the little pigs, in front of the third? So with no idea of how to get his abstract thoughts to the big screen, he eventually realised that Steven Spielberg wasn't going to lend him his video camera and that the next best method of unleashing his thoughts to the world, would be to write them out as books. he quickly realised that traditional publishing via an agent wasn't for him...cue the Amazon Kindle!

Learning German

Michael has being learning German forever. Determined to achieve one task in life to very end, he has persisted years after many would have either had given up, or moved on to their third or fourth language.

Story-wise, he wasn't impressed with the what beginners in the language were being offered, he began writing a few short books in his adopted language. However, the shock came, when it became clear that getting all his work proofread, was going to take and cost him close to three times the times what he had budgeted for!

It's been a long and trying process, but the perfectionist Michael Wolliston is finally happy. We hope you like it all!
