God, however, had other plans. On Easter Eve 1523 she escaped with eleven other nuns to Wittenberg, a move meant to be temporary until a more permanent home could be found for her. What happened next changed the world in this family story filled with Luther's music in the original German.

Born, raised, and educated in Lincoln, Nebraska USA, Laurel A. Rockefeller's passion for animals comes through in everything she writes. But she is best known for her biographies, particularly "His Red Eminence" (2020 Godiva Award winner) and the thirteen biographies (and counting) of the Legendary Women of World History series.
