Synopsis

A tornado of spiritual and moral decay continues to leave a path of destruction. Are you one of those asking, "What is happening to the Church and the nations?" Overall spiritual conditions are deplorable and depraved, as evidenced by the dark cloud of community crime, corruption in high places, gang violence, sex perversion and exploitation, drug abuse, and the rising suicide rate among teens.
The relevance of the Church's role as the preserver of integrity, truth, and hope among the communities is in question. As the light of the world and the salt of the earth, what would the Church do about the devastating aftereffects and emptiness while people grope around and in disillusionment? We cannot sit back and wish someone else would take the lead.
Throughout Scripture and the history of the Church, God has responded to the cry of His people by raising anointed men and women to lead the Church and the nations into healing and restoration.
Could you be the one God is calling to lead?
At the new birth, the Holy One anointed you (see 1 John 2:20, 27; Romans 9:9). You, therefore, have a rich deposit of anointing in you to take your rightful place in God's kingdom plan for such a time as this. The people of God can either sit still and complain or answer the call to lead. Now is the time to turn to God in prayer and repentance as His people. He has given us a rock-solid promise to forgive, heal and restore us (see 2 Chronicles 7:14).
The book affords readers an extraordinary opportunity to explore Anointed Leadership in Scripture and history to find their place in God's plan to bring healing and restoration to the destitute, apostate, and spiritually bankrupt humanity.
