Purple Dragonfly Book Award's mission is to celebrate and promote exceptional children's literature
2024 Children's Audiobook Winner of the Voice Arts(R) Award by Society of Voice Arts and Sciences.
The purpose of the Voice Arts(R) Awards is to provide an international acknowledgment of the extraordinary skill and artistry that goes into voiceover acting and to hold up an evolving best-in-class standard of achievement to which the voiceover industry can continually aspire.
Woodbury the boatbuilder needed to rid his house of mice but could not bear the thought of hurting them.
By choosing to trap a mouse "the same old way everyone else did", Woody realized he made an awful mistake.
However, true to his nature, Woody was able to surrender to "the calmness of the endless sea".
In so doing, he found a way to resolve the age-old conflict between heart and mind, as well as mice and men.
It was just what the world needed!

À propos de l'auteur
Born in New York in 1949, Victor Orne has been a craftsman all his life. Disenchanted with the education he was receiving at college, he moved to the coast of Maine, where his dad was from, in search for something better. There, he soon found himself working and learning along side some of the finest craftsmen in the world building custom wooden boats. For him, this was indeed the ultimate form of higher education. In addition to his experience as a boat builder, Victor has crafted a deeper understanding of the creative process and how it applies to our everyday lives. Inspired by actual events, WHERE MICE MEET THE SEA represents his first written attempt to share some of what he has learned. For more information visit: GoKerPlunk.com
