À propos de l'auteur

Debra L. Kaplan, MA, MBA, LPC, CSAT-S, is an author, speaker, and licensed therapist specializing in attachment, sexual compulsivity, money, work, and relationship dynamics. She is a faculty member for the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP), a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist/Supervisor, and an EMDR Certified therapist.

After a successful career on Wall Street, where dynamics regarding sex, money and power are legendary, Debra pursued a career in psychology and merged her financial and clinical interests. She is often asked how she went from Wall Street commodity option trader to trauma and sex addiction therapist. "The leap might sound incongruous, but in reality, it was natural. The psychology of money became more compelling to me than the money itself." She is the author of For Love and Money: Exploring Sexual & Financial Betrayal in Relationships and Battle of the Titans: Mastering the Forces of Sex, Money, and Power in Relationships. She is the founder of the groundbreaking For Love and Money(R) workshops, trainings, and intensives.

Debra is proud to co-author Coupleship Inc: From Financial Conflict to Financial Intimacy. "Our collective therapeutic and financial interventions are a powerful and transformative approach to help couples successfully overcome their money conflicts and create financial intimacy."

Debra's work is described as bold and empathic, and she is an invited guest on podcasts and financial media outlets. You can learn more at www.debrakaplancounseling.com
