Debra DeVoe has loved ballet since she was seven years old. With a Master's in Education from George Washington University, she shares her passion for dance through writing and instruction. For over 40 years, she's taught ballet, created choreography, and written about dance history.

Award winning and New York Times reviewed author and illustrator Karen Hayes has written and illustrated over seven books and illustrated more than 25 books, six of them with her son and fellow artist John Gorey.
