About the photographer
Michael Antman is a former senior marketing executive, an urban photographer, a theatre and book critic, and the author of the novels Everything Solid Has a Shadow and Cherry Whip and the memoir Searching for the Seagull Motel. He is the co-author with Christopher Guerin of the poetry and photography collaboration The Gate Contained.

He is a two-time finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Nona Balakian Award for Excellence in Reviewing. His photography can be found on Instagram @michaelantman, and his author’s website is michaelantman dot com.
