Synopsis

They wanted to bring the dinosaurs back. Someone else wanted to make them deadlier.

When a team of scientists discovers how to reverse engineer dinosaurs from modern birds, they believe they are opening a window into Earth's distant past. Their goal is simple: to learn how these extraordinary animals once lived.

But not everyone shares that vision.

Without realizing she has been manipulated, the project's brilliant geneticist creates larger, more dangerous predators for a ruthless billionaire whose interests have little to do with scientific discovery.

On a vast New Mexico ranch, the resurrected dinosaurs are kept safely behind heavily fortified enclosures. Yet even the strongest barriers fail from time to time. A damaged fence. A moment of human error. An unexpected encounter.

For the people caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, survival becomes anything but certain.

As the years pass, remarkable robots called Dexters become an essential part of ranch operations, while scientists struggle to balance discovery, ethics, and the demands of those who value profit over human lives.

Filled with believable science, unforgettable characters, suspense, humor, and pulse-pounding encounters with prehistoric predators, Raptor Lands is a thrilling adventure that asks a haunting question:

Just because we can bring dinosaurs back... should we?

Includes bonus illustrations that bring the prehistoric world vividly to life.
