With a hands-on approach to screenwriting, Melissa contributes to shaping meaningful narratives that amplify underrepresented voices. Inspired by her daughter Eliana's success as an actress in the industry, she teamed up with her husband Justin and daughter Eliana to bring these stories to life. Sua Films is currently developing several exciting projects, including a Samoan feature film, a book-to-series adaptation of a Pasifika story, and a feature based on the true story of a young Māori woman. Keep Believing: The Samoan Legend of The Turtle and The Shark is the release of Melissa's second children's book. Eliana Su'a is an actress and co-author, celebrated for her unique talent, heritage, and passion for the arts. Half-Samoan and half-Latina, Eliana has charmed audiences since age eight, breaking out as Dwayne Johnson's daughter in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw and now starring in Disney's Pretty Freekin' Scary. With a background in theater, film, and television, Eliana is also a producer with Su'a Films, her family's production company, where she is actively developing several features and series.
