Synopsis

Welcome to Trollandia is TWO books inside one cover!

Part 1, "Who's Who of Trollandia", introduces the reader to some of the community's most notable residents. Get to know them and learn about their many talents, accomplishments and backgrounds. Trolls are incredibly honest, funny, smart and so darned sweet. Most trolls possess remarkable moral character, although a few are a little feisty. They are not angels. The characters are especially relatable to children of the 1960s and 70's, the years the featured trolls were manufactured.

In Part 2, "Riding the Rainbow", we get to know Lizzie and her two best friends, Stella and Katie. They are off on another adventure in Troll Town. Only this time, there is a problem: Lizzie has lost her beloved bear, Snickerdoodles! Join the magical journey with these giggly trolls as they search for Snickerdoodles, skipping through fields of love posies, chasing after rainbows, and meeting old and new friends.

Nearly half of the book's approximately 120+ pages are big, glorious color pictures, and nearly half contain delectably sweet and smile inducing stories. It's the perfect coffee table book for troll-loving kindred spirits. (We know who we are.)

À propos des auteurs

Mary Lynn Brancato is a retired freelance free spirit who lives in the Arizona desert. She loves one sweet man and a pack of dogs. She enjoys creating pretty images on her computer and playing with her collection of vintage troll dolls. She says trolls will tell you who they are. ML will hold a troll, turn it around and look it in the eyes until it tells her its story. After that, all she has to do is type it up. As a little girl, she spent hours on end with her troll friends and they tickle her imagination to this day. Mary Lynn hopes "Welcome to Trollandia" will inspire people of all ages to free their poor, neglected inner child from the dusty basement of forgotten dreams. The poor thing needs sunshine and fresh air. Trolls are like magic time machines for your state of mind. C'mon! Let's play!
