Licensed in the state of North Carolina as an addiction specialist, clinical supervisor, and as a certified group psychotherapist by the American Group Psychotherapy Association, Jeff is the former clinical director of the Duke Addictions Program, has served in the Duke Medical Center's departments of Surgery, Obstetrics and remains a Consulting Associate in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science. With his wife, Becky Georgi, Jeff founded Georgi Educational and Counseling Services (GECS), an educational and training organization, which works with agencies, treatment centers, and practitioners to improve patient care. Their seven-year commitment with the South Carolina Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services (DAODAS), Columbia, South Carolina is one of their many success stories.

JEFF GEORGI, MDiv, MAH, LCMHC, LCAS, CCS, CGP, has worked in the addiction treatment community for 40 years, having helped thousands of individuals and families, and continues in private practice today. He is the former clinical director of the Duke Addictions Program, has served in Duke University Medical Center's Departments of Surgery and Obstetrics, and is currently a consulting associate in Duke's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science.

BECKY GEORGI, MS, LCMHC, LCAS, CCS, has worked in the mental health and addiction field for over 30 years and continues in private practice with emphasis on adolescents, young adults and their families. She is an adjunct associate in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Duke University School of Medicine. She served as the former clinical director of the Duke Adolescent Program and wellness program coordinator.
