The year is 2080, and the world is in ruins, having been devastated by the AGI Wars of the 2030s. The Artificial General Intelligence or AGI that once showed promise to help advance mankind only enhanced its obsession for destruction. After the AGI wars, Biotech corporations seized control of what was left of the world in humanity's moment of weakness.
Joe Walker and his friends Duncan, Marshall, and Jamie are part of a group called the Resistance, fighting against these corrupt corporations. During one of their high-stakes missions to gain access to a highly classified secret facility, they discovered a technology so advanced that it challenged everything they thought they knew.
After the mission goes sideways, Joe wakes up to find that his consciousness has been transferred to a biomechanical body against his protests. Now, he must navigate this dangerous new reality that he has been forced into, where the line between human and machine blurs. His very existence challenges the question on everyone's minds.
What does it truly mean to be human?
As Joe navigates through his new transformation, he finds out that humanity’s future now depends on the choices he never wanted to have to make.
"Our humanity isn't in our flesh, Joe. It's in our minds, our memories, our capacity to love and create." - Dr. White J.O.E Transcendence
