What does it mean to grow up without a mother’s voice guiding you?
How do you learn to become a woman when the one who gave you life is no longer there?
Echoes of Me is the story of a motherless daughter searching for herself in the spaces grief left behind. Through raw and tender poetry, Rachel Norman opens the pages of her heart—some poems pulled straight from the reality of her life, others born from the universal ache of loss and the longing for belonging.
These words capture both the ordinary and the extraordinary moments of living with absence: the quiet questions, the painful memories, and the strength it takes to move forward.
For every motherless daughter—and for anyone who has ever grieved, grown, or wondered where they truly belong—Echoes of Me is a reminder that even in the silence, love still lingers, healing is possible, and your voice matters.

Hi, I'm Rachel Norman-author, poet, and entrepreneur. Words have always been my safe place. Long before I ever dreamed of publishing a book, I kept prayer journals and wrote poems as a way of talking with God and making sense of life. Writing was my sanctuary, a quiet place where I could pour out gratitude, questions, and dreams. When my mother passed away, those same journals and poems became something even more-my healing place. Grief gave my writing new depth, transforming it from private pages into a calling to share my story with others who are walking through pain, faith, and rediscovery. That journey gave birth to my debut collection, Reflection of Her, and its companion, Echoes of Me. Together, they speak to loss, love, and the resilience that rises when you lean into faith and creativity.Today, through R&R Publishing LLC, I'm building more than books-I'm building a legacy. With a background in accounting and entrepreneurship, I blend faith, creativity, and practical wisdom to inspire others to find both purpose and freedom. My journals, poetry, and faith-based projects are designed to remind you that no matter where you start, your story has value. At my core, I am a storyteller who believes words can heal, inspire, and transform. Writing began as a private dialogue with God, but now it's my gift to the world: a way to say you are not alone, your voice matters, and your story deserves to be told.
