Synopsis
When a recently deceased soul is offered a chance to escape Oblivion, he must locate the lost Book of Remedies—an ancient text of miraculous healing power—before Demons use it to turn Earth into Hell.
What happens when you die? Forget clouds, harps, or fiery pits. Here, bureaucratic Angels—supervised by rival Archangel cabinet members and assisted by poker-playing Demon janitors—run Creation from celestial offices plagued by politics and back stabbing.
When a nameless soul with no memory of his past steps into this surreal afterlife, the Heavenly Department of Justice offers him a deal: go on a mission to expose Satanists and idolaters on Earth. Success will earn him a coveted ticket to Heaven. Failure means eternal Oblivion.

He succeeds and in the process saves the intended human sacrifice, Nora, a beautiful and mysterious woman who sparks feelings he can’t identify or understand. To his misfortune, our hero finds fragments at the ritual site from the long-lost Book of Remedies, a powerful artifact Demons could claim to reshape the world in Hell’s image.
