Synopsis

What kind of mischief can two black cats get into when their owners are away?

Angus and Anna, two littermates, decide they too should take a little jaunt away from home. Since they live on an island, the path outside the gate quickly takes them to the edge of the Salish Sea. That is where everything changed. The cats find that their curiosity and independence has led them into a situation that is beyond of their control. As they experience one adventure after another the cats wonder if they will ever find their way home.

À propos de l?auteur

Nancy has been a working artist in the Pacific Northwest since the 1970s. She has won numerous accolades for her work. In 2016 one of her pastel paintings was displayed at the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. as part of the 100th anniversary celebration of our national parks.Nancy has always kept a journal and enjoyed the written word. In 2021, she wrote and self published a memoir of her island life. Angus and Anna's Unexpected Adventure is her first children's book. Writing and using her art to create a picture book has been a longtime dream come true.When not creating in her studio Nancy enjoys being outside tending her garden or enjoying trails and parks in her island neighborhood.
