Lynae Holmen is a retired public school special education teacher from Minot, ND. Between church events, family fun, volunteering, and occasional part time teaching gigs at the local university, retirement days stay busy. As such, an early retreat to a bed piled high with pillows remains a favorite way to end a day. Add a soft blanket, a hot water bottle and just the right book, and Lynae makes this very bold claim: "My nest is best!"

Wendy K. Weiss Voeller is a self-taught Fine Artist who works in a wide variety of media including: charcoal, watercolor, marker, ink, acrylic, and pastels. She is also a photographer. When she is not in her art studio working on several masterpieces at once, you might find her photographing lions, tigers, and bears.
