Synopsis

Becoming Me Again is a faith-centered memoir of healing, obedience, and becoming-written for women who have learned how to endure but are now being called to live restored. In this deeply personal journey, nationally elected labor leader and author Wenomia Goodrum shares how faith carried her through seasons of responsibility, silence, and sacrifice-and how God gently led her back to herself.

Through honest reflection and spiritual insight, Goodrum explores what it means to lay down survival and trust God with wholeness. She writes to the woman who has been strong for everyone else, faithful in her assignments, and obedient even when it cost her comfort-yet feels distant from the woman she once was. This book names the quiet ways we lose ourselves and the sacred work of reclaiming what God never meant for us to surrender.

Becoming Me Again is not about striving or perfection; it is about surrender, discernment, and alignment. It is a reminder that healing is holy work, rest is not rebellion, and becoming is part of God's design. With Scripture-rooted wisdom and lived testimony, this book invites readers to trust God's timing, release what no longer serves them, and step fully into the woman He created them to be.
