Synopsis

THE GODS CREATED HUMANITY TO SERVE THEM. LILITH HAD OTHER PLANS.
What if humanity’s oldest myths are not myths at all, but distorted memories of something that actually happened?
Long before humanity called them gods, powerful beings came to Earth for its resources. Their solution was extraordinary: combine their DNA with an existing species, awaken its consciousness, restrict its intelligence, and create a race designed to serve them.
Humanity.
Lilith, Chief Scientist of Heaven, is chosen to help create this new species. But when she discovers its true purpose, she refuses.
“I shall not be part of such an abomination.”
Humanity is created anyway.
And Lilith’s rebellion begins.
From Genesis onward, the familiar story starts to fracture.
Lilith becomes humanity’s creator, rebel, teacher, and defender. Jehovah demands obedience. Satan is not quite the enemy religion remembers. Adam and Eve, Cain, the Watchers, and other familiar figures take on startling new roles as an ancient struggle unfolds over a question that will follow humanity for thousands of years:
Who controls what humanity is allowed to know?
As generations pass, visitors from the heavens become angels. Advanced knowledge becomes miracles. Teachers become prophets. And eventually, prophets become gods.
The struggle reaches Jesus and Mary Magdalene, where the story turns again. Mary recognizes a danger greater than persecution: humanity is beginning to worship the messenger instead of understanding what he was sent to teach.
“Jesus has become the message and not the messenger.”
But another story lies beneath the one on the page.
Astrological, initiatory, and ancient symbols are woven throughout the novel. Some readers will follow the story. Others will recognize the clues hidden within its names, words, symbols, and events.
The story can be read. But for those who seek, it can also be searched.
Then, in 1969, humanity reaches the Moon.
And discovers that the ancient story may not be ancient after all.
What if the beings humanity once called gods never disappeared?
What if religion preserved fragments of encounters we no longer knew how to explain?
What if the mysteries in our oldest stories and the unexplained objects still appearing in our skies are not separate mysteries—
but different chapters of the same story?
Perhaps the question is not whether our ancestors invented their gods.
Perhaps the question is who they were trying to remember.
