Synopsis

This book of unique and humorous short stories covers everything from mice to pseudo-human men; from the future to the past; and everything in between. But the stories are often not what they seem. For instance, before there were the Beatles, there were three young Skiffle band members in the Quarrymen in Liverpool who dreamed of success with their own music. They wrote their own songs, but in the words of one of the characters of this short story...they were in need of being rescued. Learn the real story behind the success of the fabulous Fab Four.

Among other stories meet Sam, the ASI or Artificial Super Intelligence that is a pseudo-human living in the future in what used to be your planet. Read about his challenges when humans returned to attack his community.

Then there is the story of a ranch in the foothills of Western Canada where an alien landed and trashed the home while the family was away. Only Rex, the family dog attempts to communicate with the alien, or at least he tries.

Spend an evening with a liberal New York City couple when they visit a mid-western redneck family's home during Thanksgiving.

Learn about an unusual incident at a nearby farm where the livestock have been impacted by chemicals from a neighboring experimental farm.

Or find out what happens at a NYC YMCA when the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse meet the Seven Deadly Sins.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go back in time to meet your parent's parents as equals in their time? Who knew that you could do this by going fishing?

And what if you went off the grid and missed out on what everyone else was doing? It could turn out to be disastrous.

These stories sound like reasonable storylines, but they are not what you think they are. Have fun reading them.
