N.V. Haskell is an award-winning author of speculative fiction. When she manages to step away from her computer, she can be found at Comic Cons or Renaissance Fairs donned in her favorite costumes, reading multiple books at a time, running badly, travelling, or teaching yoga.

She lives somewhere between civilization and haunted creeks with her long-suffering spouse, rescue dog, and too many squirrels that she can't help but feed. She is open about her struggles with mental health and is a staunch advocate for mental health awareness and LGBTQ rights.
