Synopsis

The Half Room

After years of being a guinea pig for a mysterious pharmaceutical company, Wilson Brown wakes up with three women's breasts on his body.

In search of a cure, he travels from Los Angeles to a lost city in the middle of the desert.

There he will encounter planes that cannot fly, an illegal shipment of baseballs, the new Russian mafia, a huge book with cryptic messages, a violinist turned radio prophet and a young criminal who travels in a Mustang at 500 miles per hour.

The Half Room is a crazy, dizzying and surreal novel. A journey full of doors that open to absurdity and nonsense.

WARNING
This book is absolutely irrational and parodic. The cover should read: "I am not a normal novel".

If you are a fan of Carlton Mellick III, Charles V, and Camillo VI, you will absolutely enjoy this story.

"A strange story, full of parentheses, bifurcations and leaps into the void" Cajo Leg. ★★★★★

"Baltazar Boeuf puts a gun in your mouth, then leaves, and doesn't come back." R. Indie. ★★★★

"The Half Room is the reverse of the world seen with the lucid lens with which nightmares are admired. Disturbing, eclectic, arrhythmic. (...) Between epiphany and hallucination, The Half Room is a journey adrift, a shipwreck". Lextralia. ★★★★★

"Post-apocalyptic dystopia or pre-apocalyptic utopia, this is one of the most incomprehensible novels of all time." PostData ★★★

"It is better to read The Half Room as stand-alone, loose, lost chapters, though it's best not to read it at all." The bookseller on the corner. ★★★

"Boeuf is what he is. You can't ask more of him, nor can you ask less." Daniel Bi ★★★★★

"Like other Boeuf books, The Half Room is nonsense, bizarre, psychedelic, B-movie style pulp fiction." Pereira Auto Repair ★★★★
