Orra, a pacifist gardener living between dimensions, is summoned to Galea, her mother planet, to rescue her kind-the Shids-from the devastating cruelty of the Kassakro Empire's invasion. Despite her idyllic view of the world, she must use her skills to intervene and help evacuate the population. But she underestimates the situation and is captured, imprisoned as an exotic creature, and gifted to the cruel Seventh Imperial Prince, Hipolit.
She must now find a way to save her people and return to her peaceful life before the sadistic Empress turns her into an experiment. Refusing to adopt the brutal mentality corrupting the lives of the imperial family and everyone within the Octagon's walls, she maintains her pacifist nature and kind approach, determined to outsmart the inhumanity that threatens her view of life and love.
Born and raised in an overpowerful and dysfunctional family, Hipolit is used to people fearing or using him, with his only goal being to keep his sanity for one more day. But Orra offers him something unexpected: a sense of normalcy. Before he realizes it, she becomes his balancing force in the never-ending conflicts with his family. Compelled by pity and compassion for Hipolit's condition, Orra offers her help, hoping that there may be a way to save both her kind and Hipolit as well.
