Synopsis

Here in Greece, I answer to Eros, the god of Love. I entertain myself by shooting my golden love arrows at people who have no business falling in love. I've pranked even Zeus, the king of the gods, a number of times, enjoying a good laugh at his expense. But this time, the joke's on me. I fell for Psyche, someone Mother hates. And Mother is Aphrodite, the humorless, vengeful, and powerful goddess of beauty and love. Now she's determined to punish Psyche, commanding me to destroy her! But how can I hurt the woman I love? I'm Psyche, princess in a tiny kingdom. My mother boasted far and wide that even Aphrodite's beauty can't compare to mine. Now, we're overrun by suitors for my hand, all anxious to win me and show me off, like an ornament instead of a person. Worse, mother's boast has infuriated the jealous goddess, Aphrodite. Even if I don't end up dead, I'm likely to end up married to an unfeeling stranger. Why can't I find someone who loves me for myself? This is a sweet romance along the lines of a fairy tale retelling with swoony moments but nothing explicit. Trigger warning: suicide reference, but everyone lives! (Except maybe the griffin.)

À propos de l'auteur

My very first book was published in the living room. It boasted several crookedly handwritten pages on typing paper, stapled together, and was illustrated with crayon images depicting (I'm sure) a love story between a little girl and her beautiful horse.

My writing later graduated to spiral notebooks, then--finally--the computer.

I still love to write, and while the scale of novel-writing can be anxiety inducing, I'm excited to share the ideas and characters I love. I hope you enjoy them.
