Synopsis
Cadence never expected an exploration of her fertility with a vampire to turn into a whirlwind romance! When Cadence learns that she can get a college education, she jumps at the chance - even though it means being a blood donor for the royal vampire doctor, Harqeed. She's ready to do whatever it takes to stay in his good graces, but that resolve gets tested when she finds out what he's been up to. Faced with a hard decision, she makes the choice to be his freeuse toy until she gets pregnant. They're having a lot of fun trying to conceive, but Cadence finds herself wishing for something more. She worries that Harqeed will never feel the same and will only toss her to the side once she gives him the child he desires. It's up to Harqeed to show her that he's not letting go of her that easily. This is a steamy, dark romance with some dark themes, but also ends in an HEA. It's a standalone book that is interconnected with the others in the series.
