Synopsis
A King's Spiritual War Lianor was more than a king; he was a spirit incarnated with a sacred mission to infuse Aethelgard with higher wisdom and integrity. Yet, his own ambition and earthly desires proved to be his immediate downfall. Though he ascended the throne, he was instantly crushed by the forces he helped empower, finding his purpose choked by the "mundane static" of his world. His beloved, cunning wife, Isolda, is murdered by the very merchants whose greed she fostered, and Lianor is cast into a harsh exile. Aethelgard now lies ruined, ruled by a brutal, avaricious council, its very soul stripped bare by the unseen, insidious manipulator, Valerius. In exile, Lianor faces his ultimate trial: a spiritual rebirth. He must meticulously purge the debilitating dogma and rancor that bind him, wrestling with the agonizing silence of a God who guides but refuses to intervene in the violence of the mundane world. Lianor returns not to reclaim a throne of gold, but to embark on a war for the kingdom's soul. He must align his human will with his lost divine purpose, accepting that the power to break the evil lies only within his own deeply humbled spirit. His final battle is the redemption of his abandoned mission and the very integrity of his home.
