Maryann Lawrence writes stories that celebrate wonder, imagination, and the natural world. She is the author of Season of the Great Bird, Uneventful, and Lily Pond. Her poetry and fiction have appeared in numerous literary journals, and she serves as Managing Editor of The Dolomite Review. A member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), she lives in Bay City, Michigan, where the woods, wetlands, and changing seasons often inspire her work.
Glenn Ernest Becker is an author/illustrator living in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and recent graduate of Northern Michigan University's illustration program. He enjoys kayaking with his dog, Clementine, gardening with his cat, Bowie, and spending snowy days reading at his riverside home.
