Synopsis

Given his circumstances, he was never meant to succeed...

Dr. James Harris Jr. started as a child of poverty who was raised in a crack house during the crack epidemic in Fresno, California. His path looked more likely to lead to destruction, based on the troubles of his adolescence, the various crimes he participated in as a teenager, and becoming a father at fifteen years old.

But through God's grace, there was a transformation that was not expected. His story of resilience and determination led to him achieving all of his dreams, but his early struggles were only preparing him for some of the most difficult challenges he would ever face.

He is married to his high school sweetheart, Rosina, and they have three adult children: Tre (married and works as a college English adjunct professor and aspiring writer), Marcus (who had a traumatic brain injury and lives at home since his accident), and Danielle (who is engaged and works as a biologist).

His story is one of survival, and to be shared with others who are going through impossible times and who feel there is no hope. This story is meant to prove that despite seemingly impossible odds, God has a purpose for your life, and you should never give up.
