Christopher Lugo is a former journalist turned novelist, making his fiction debut with Legacy Lies: An ARCH Novel.A native of Andalusia, Alabama, Lugo studied at Auburn University in Montgomery, Troy University, LBW Community College, and the University of Hartford.He began his career at the Andalusia Star-News, quickly advancing to managing editor, and later served as editor of The Highlander in North Carolina, where his work earned several North Carolina Press Association Awards. His years in journalism sharpened his ability to uncover stories, dig into history, and explore the human side of complex events.Beyond the newsroom, Lugo has built a career in community advocacy and workforce development. He currently serves as executive director of United Way of Baldwin County, where he leads efforts to strengthen education, financial stability, and health across the region. Previously, at the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce in Alabama, he created a first-of-its-kind paid internship program connecting high school seniors with career opportunities.Drawing on his background in storytelling, history, and community engagement, Lugo brings a fresh voice to the thriller genre. Legacy Lies is his first novel.When not writing, Lugo loves spending time with his wife, daughter, and their three dogs.
