Synopsis

"We have forgotten what life is for."

The Father gave the Son because humanity could no longer see the Father as love. That is not only an ancient diagnosis. It is the diagnosis of the modern world.

We have multiplied knowledge, accelerated communication, and placed more power in human hands than any generation before us - and yet the soul is not more at peace. The nations shake. Economies feed on extraction. Bodies are optimized while souls are exhausted. Technology connects the world while leaving the human heart unseen.

The crisis is not merely political, economic, or psychological. It is theological. When the Father is mis-seen, everything downstream distorts: power becomes domination, freedom becomes isolation, religion becomes performance, desire becomes consumption, the soul becomes a project. The world does not simply become immoral - it becomes incoherent, trying to breathe outside its element. Humanity has forgotten the Love in which it lives, and therefore no longer knows what life is for.

The Original Field - the opening book of the Threshold - returns to the uncorrupted architecture of creation, before the intrusion of shame and survival, to recover the sight on which everything else depends: the Father as He is, and you as you were intended. Not more self-analysis. Not another program of religious performance. A recovery of the original ground - the Image you bear, the Breath that animates you, the Communion offered you before time began.

The cool of the day was never abolished. The Father is still walking in the garden. He is still calling you out of hiding.

Why were you made?

Book One of the Threshold - three books opening the longer formation arc that continues into the Beatitudes.
