This is a photographic guidebook of 17 concentration/extermination camps, using over 450 color photos of present-day camp sites in Germany, Poland, Austria, and the Czech Republic. Although the camps had a common purpose, they were each geographically different and unique. As you turn the pages, you will quickly see that no two camps are the same. Each starts with an overview and then you are walked through the present-day camp layout. It is written in such a way that you can use the guidebook to navigate around a camp site in person or use it as a visual reference, making it a must-have resource for those interested in Holocaust education.
